Greetings
When we first meet each other, we often say greetings:
A: Chào bạn! (Hello!)
B: Chào bạn!
A: Mình tên là Tham. (My name's Tham = I'm Tham)
Note: In English, we use "I". In Vietnamese, we use "tôi" (formal) or "mình" (friendly).
B: Còn mình là Akari.
And then, we can ask to get more information or we can talk about things we need to communicate.
For example:
A: Mình đến Việt Nam để dạy tiếng Anh. (I come to Vietnam to teach English).
Mình rất muốn đi du lịch các địa điểm ở Việt Nam, bạn có thể giúp mình không? (I really want to travel at some places in Vietnam. Can you help me?)
